About Us
It is not just about numbers. It is about a partnership.
Brett works with business owners, executives, and their families on the financial decisions that don’t fit neatly into one category. His role is often to connect what is happening inside the business with the retirement plan, key employee decisions, tax planning, and the wealth being built outside of it. The goal is simple: understand what matters, identify the decisions that have the greatest impact, and make sure the right people are working from the same plan.
Brett holds degrees from Wichita State University and Kansas State University, and is a graduate of the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, which took him to a Michelin starred kitchen in Avignon, France. Outside of work he is on the golf course or the pickleball court, and most often making memories with his wife Katie, their daughter Ivy, and their Great Pyrenees, Mort.
What we believe about this work
The business and the household are one plan
For most owners the company is the largest asset and the biggest source of tax decisions. Planning the personal side without it is guesswork.
Planning is a process, not an event
A plan built once and filed away stops being true within a year. The value is in revisiting it as circumstances change.
Nothing starts with a product
It starts with what you are trying to build and who is counting on it. Solutions come after that conversation, not before it.
Coordination is the job
You already have a CPA and an attorney. Our role is often making sure everyone is working from the same plan instead of separate pieces of one.
Our Team
You are not hiring one person.
Day to day you will talk to the people below as often as you talk to Brett. They handle the work that keeps a plan moving between meetings.

And Keating brings the bench.
Integrated planning only works if there is a team capable of executing it. Behind the plans we build sit the retirement plan specialists, insurance and benefits people, and business consulting resources at Keating.
When a situation needs more than one specialist, you get more than one specialist without starting a new relationship.
